Deer Park High School Earns NYSPHSAA School of Excellence Honor

Deer Park High School has been named a 2025-2026 School of Excellence by the New York State Public High School Athletic Association, recognizing the school’s strong commitment to academic achievement among its athletes.

The designation is awarded to schools where at least 75% of varsity teams earn NYSPHSAA Scholar-Athlete Team recognition during their respective seasons. The honor highlights the dedication of Deer Park’s student athletes to succeeding both in competition and in the classroom.

Athletic Director Dominick Fontana praised the achievement as a reflection of the hard work and commitment shown across the school’s athletic program.
