Deer Park High School’s 2024 College and Career Week was designed to connect students with college and career opportunities and information to better prepare them for life after graduation. The event featured a daily mini College and Career Fair in the gym with over 20 representatives, along with workshops on topics such as college searches, college essays, interviewing skills, marketing analytics, studying medicine, resume building, letters of recommendation, and NCAA and SUNY information. College and Career Week concluded with a Decision Day celebration in the main lobby, with seniors enjoying snacks, taking photos and adding their names and colleges/careers to a decision tree.
