John Quincy Adams Primary School’s second grade Student Council visited the Sunrise Assisted Living Facility in Dix Hills on May 8. During the field trip, the students engaged with residents through painting rocks to help decorate their garden, while also sharing a snack and conversation. The residents told stories of their lives with the children. 

“Our students really enjoyed their time at Sunrise and found it a very worthwhile experience, Associate Principal Michael Quartararo said.
