Deer Park High School recently honored the November Students of the Month: Sidra Syed was named Scholar of the
Month and Kesha Elmon was
named Citizen of the Month. Both students have exemplified outstanding qualities that contribute to our school community.
Sidra Syed has shown exceptional academic excellence, demonstrating leadership and a commitment to helping her peers thrive. One nomination highlighted, "She is a natural born educator! Her insightful questions and feedback make every discussion meaningful." Sidra's positive impact and consistency throughout the year truly set her apart.
Kesha Elmon embodies kindness and respect, consistently exhibiting positive behavior. A nomination noted, "We need more Keshas in the world!" She goes above and beyond to support her classmates, ensuring they feel valued and understood. Kesha's efforts and positive attitude make a significant difference in our community.

Citizen of the Month recognizes students who exhibit outstanding
character, leadership qualities and a commitment to making a positive
impact on our school community and beyond. It is a chance to highlight
the remarkable citizenship and contributions of our students.
