Deer Park High School’s newly formed Student Booster Club, guided by advisers Joe Alo and Kelly Boyle, recently took the opportunity to research decades of Deer Park history to construct a display in the main lobby showcase, titled “Deer Park – Spirit Through the Years.” The aim of the project was to highlight the indomitable spirit of Deer Park past and present. The showcase is full of hundreds of photos and items ranging from 1964 to 2025, many of them generously lent to the Student Booster Club by members of staff and the community.

“The goal of the Deer Park High School Student Booster Club is to support and enhance school and community spirit, and we feel the club is taking a huge step forward in this direction as the display has caught the attention of students and staff alike,” Alo said. “The club wishes to promote athletic, academic and individual achievement on any level, whether its sports, clubs, the arts or in the classroom. We look forward to working with members of the school district and Deer Park community in future projects to showcase the true Deer Park spirit and what it means to be a Falcon.
