Talented students from Deer Park’s John F. Kennedy Intermediate School, John Quincy Adams Primary School and May Moore Primary School were recently selected to have their work displayed in the 24th annual Colors of Long Island student art exhibit.

The show will be on view from Feb. 17 through April 8 at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook. Sponsored by Sterling National Bank, Colors of Long Island provides students from kindergarten through 12th grade an opportunity to showcase their artistic accomplishment in a museum setting.

This year’s chosen Deer Park artists are JFK fifth graders Sarah Faruke and Albert Rodriguez, JQA kindergartener Ali Tuzcu and second grader Kasey Gomez, and May Moore kindergartner Luciana Burriesci and second grader Izabella Gilmor.
